University of Engineering and Technology Lahore has notified for postponement of UET Online ECAT 2020 till any further notification.
Postponement of UET Online ECAT 2020
UET Lahore has already signed an MOU with Virtual University of Pakistan for the conduct of Online ECAT 2020. In this regard, UET has completed all the arrangements for conduct of online ECAT 2020.This Year date of ECAT 2020 is on 13th and 14th June 2020. Different centers on Virtual University of Pakistan have been designated for students for appearing in the online test. As per given schedule of UET last date for the issuance of token for ECAT Registration was 2nd June 2020. Now, UET has notified about the postponement of ECAT 2020 till any further order. Similarly, Mock Online ECAT which is scheduled on 6th and 7th June, 2020 has now also been postponed.
Remember, in the start of May 2020, UET Lahore has advertised for UET Admissions 2020 for Undergraduate Programs in which Admission Criteria, weightage of Entry Test and FSc Marks, Paper Pattern are mentioned. Reason for the Postponement of ECAT 2020
As per the sources, ECAT 2020 has been postponed due to rapid increase in cases of COVID 19 Pandemic in Province. However, University has neither updated nor told any reason about postponement of Entry Test 2020. But the rapid increase in the corona cases may effect ECAT 2020 this year. There may be chances of cancellation or more delay in ECAT 2020 if the corona virus does not end so. We will advise students to focus on their studies and keep continuing their preparation for the ECAT 2020. As soon as, UET will announce new date for ECAT we will update you.
