New Date of MDCAT 2020 After Second Time Postponement

After the second time Cancellation of MDCAT 2020 now by the Sindh Court, PMC may reschedule NMDCAT 2020 in the 1st or 2nd week of December 2020 and may announce New Date of National MDCAT 2020 in the last of November 2020.

Reasons for second-time postponement of NMDCAT 2020

After the establishment of the Pakistan Medical Commission, PMC is working from zero. In a very short time, the commission took all matters actively. As National MDCAT 2020 is being conducted in a very short time by the PMC. Therefore, applicants are facing problems for MDCAT 2020 registration, and therefore, the date of registration was extended till 11th November 2020.

NTS had to conduct Entry Test 2020 across the country and there were logistics problems for the conduction of NMDCAT 2020 countrywide. According to minutes of the meeting about the finalization of the syllabus for the Medical Entrance Test 2020, UHS attended meeting informally for the finalization of the syllabus of MDCAT 2020. Another news of the recent statement of PMC Vice President that UHS may conduct its own MDCAT 2020. After this it is hoping that perhaps UHS may be re-appointed as Examination Authority for NMDCAT 2020 and Syllabus. But the main factor for the postponement of MDCAT 2020 is the decision of the Sindh High Court about the MDCAT syllabus 2020. On the basis of a decision by the honorable Sindh High Court, now PMC is complying directions of the High Court.

Expected New Date of NMDCAT 2020

National Testing Service NTS Islamabad had to conduct National MDCAT 2020 on Sunday, 15^th November 2020 across the country. After the second time postponement of National MDCAT 2020 on the decision of Honorable Sindh High Court recently, now it is being expected that PMC will conduct NMDCAT 2020 / Entry Test 2020 either on 29th November 2020 or 6th December 2020. But now time will decide about the new date of MDCAT 2020.
