MBBS & BDS are highly demanded degrees in Pakistan. There are approximate 15,000 MBBS and 4,000 BDS Seats only in 114 Public and Private Medical Colleges in Pakistan while 55 Public and Private Dental Colleges in Pakistan respectively. For Admission in Medical and Dental Colleges in Pakistan, it is mandatory for applicant to pass Entry Test with other compulsory requirements. Medical & Dental Colleges Admission Test shortly known as MDCAT 2020 is a core and pre-admission requirement for admission in any government and private medical college in Pakistan.
Pakistan Medical Commission PMC / Pakistan Medical & Dental Council PMDC is an autonomous regulatory body for MBBS & BDS Degrees in Pakistan. All rules and regulations related to MBBS & BDS Degrees, approval and accreditation of medical and dental institutes, registration and licensing of doctors, registration of faculty and medical professionals are governed by this body through Admitting Universities.

MDCAT Date 2020
in 2019, UHS Conducted MDCAT 2019 on 25th August 2019. Moreover, after dissolution of PMDC and establishment of new Pakistan Medical Commission by the Presidential Ordinance on October 29, 2019, PMC had announced that centralized MDCAT will be conducted in 2020. This year it is expecting that MDCAT dates 2020 are either 23rd August 2020 or 13th September 2020. However, due to Coronavirus Pandemic, MDCAT 2020 schedule can be changed this year and Entry Test 2020 may be conducted this year in September or October.

Admitting University of each Province including Federal City announces date of MDCAT every year after F.Sc Exams. Students apply for MDCAT and after filling MDCAT Online Registration Form, they deposit Test Fee in the nominated bank. UHS MDCAT Fee of 2019 was Rs. 1,300. After appearing in Entry Test Exam, Admitting University makes available MDCAT Test Key at University’s website on the same day or next day.
Those candidates who pass test with 60% or above marks are eligible for next procedure in which they use online web portal for giving preferences of colleges according to their choices and merit percentage. This process is available for limited time period and once candidates complete this step they submit it and later this can’t be undo. Therefore we would like to suggest you for giving preferences be carefully as your whole future is based on this step. Once Admitting University locks online web portal then after some days university starts announcing merit lists of government medical and dental colleges first and later private medical and dental colleges.

MDCAT Syllabus 2020
As you know that syllabus of MDCAT 2020 is from FSc Course which consists of four main subjects i.e. Physics Chemistry Biology and English. MDCAT Test Paper consists of 100 MCQs which have to be solved in 120 minutes.
