MDCAT 2020
Medical & Dental Colleges Admission Test MDCAT is one of the famous test in the country. Without passing Medical Entrance Test, entry to Public & Private Medical or Dental Colleges is impossible. This test has 50% weightage in MBBS BDS Merit Formula and the students cannot proceed their admission further without passing MDCAT. Every year around 150,000 students of FSc pre-medical all over the country apply and appear in MDCAT only for approximate 15,000 MBBS Seats and 4,000 BDS Seats in public and private medical colleges in Pakistan. Till 2019, it was responsibility of Admitting University of each province to conduct Medical Entrance Test , However, this Year PMC / PMDC will conduct centralized MDCAT 2020 / MCAT 2020 countrywide or not this has not been decided yet. MDCAT date 2020 is in the Month of either in September 2020 or in October 2020.

ECAT 2020
Engineering Colleges Admission Test ECAT is a pre-admission test for entry to Engineering University. Students apply for ECAT after their Intermediate Exam. In Punjab, University of Engineering & Technology UET Lahore is centralized and autonomous body for the conduction of ECAT across the province. ECAT 2020 will be paperless this year as UET Lahore has signed an MOU with Virtual University of Pakistan recently. However, Authorities are planning to conduct ECAT 2020 in the Month of September 2020 due to COVID-19.

National Aptitude Test NAT is an intermediate level test and National Testing Service NTS conducts this test thrice in a year. Its a pre-admission test and is requirement of those public and private universities which have signed MOU with NTS.
Various universities of public and private sectors in the country have signed MOU with NTS for the conduction of NAT because without passing NAT, students cannot get admission in those universities where NAT 2020 is core requirement for admission.

Tips for Preparation
As we are discussing Entry Tests 2020 after intermediate exam for admission to undergraduate programs. Therefore, syllabus of these tests is mostly from Intermediate books . The extra thing in most of the tests are inclusion of some percentage of analytical skills and general knowledge. If students have grip on their intermediate course which they have already read in FSc / ISC / FA they should not worry. The best advice for students is to revise their intermediate course instead of paying heavy fees in the academies.
