ECAT Test Date 2020 & New Admission Policy by UET Lahore

UET Lahore has announced the ECAT Test Date 2020 and New ECAT Admission Policy 2020 for Undergraduate Degree Programs. According to the New UET Admission Policy 2020, now the candidates waiting for their 2^nd year results would be eligible for applying in ECAT Entry Test 2020. Furthermore, UET Lahore Has also announced Entry Test 2020 Date.

The ECAT Admission Process and ECAT 2020 Schedule of UET Lahore were linked with the declaration of 2^nd year result by the Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISEs Punjab. This year Admissions to Undergraduate Engineering programs will be based on 1^st Year FSc Result now. However those students whose are in 2^nd year and waiting for their result would also be eligible for applying in the ECAT 2020. This decision was made in light of charging heavy admission and tuition fees by the private universities offering engineering programs before the declaration of 2^nd year result. Later, when they get admission in UET Lahore then they face major financial loss during fee refund policy by the private institution. Academic Council of UET Lahore has approved and implemented New ECAT Admission Policy 2020 on March 5, 2020.

ECAT Test Date 2020 Registration

After the implementation of New ECAT Admission Policy 2020, as per UET Lahore Online ECAT Test Dates 2020 is 13^th – 14^th June, 2020.

UET Lahore is conducting first time Online ECAT Test 2020 in its history. Date of Online ECAT Registration 2020 is from 6^th May,  2020. Important dates for Online ECAT Entry Test 2020 are as follows

• Online ECAT Registration and Start of Entry Test Tokens: 6^th May, 2020
• Last Date of Online ECAT Registration 2020: 24^th May, 2020
• Last Date for Print of Admit Card: 2^nd June, 2020
• ECAT Test Date 2020: 13^th – 14^th June, 2020
• Announcement of Result: 15th June, 2020
