Official Announcement about Cancellation of MDCAT 2020 by PMC

Pakistan Medical Commission PMC has announced Postponement / Cancellation of MDCAT 2020 officially.

Pakistan Medical & Dental Council PMDC has been dissolved by the government. Pakistan Medical Commission PMC has been reestablished by the government. It has been notified by the PMC that all MDCAT 2020 across the country such as;

MDCAT 2020 scheduled by UHS on 18^th October 2020,
NUMS MDCAT 2020 scheduled by NUMS on 10^th October 2020
ETEA / Medical Entrance Test 2020 schedule by KMU

shall stand cancelled.

PMDC to PMC to PMDC to PMC

Last year in the October 2020, President had dissolved PMDC and new commission Pakistan Medical Council PMC had been constituted by an ordinance. Later, ex-employees of PMDC filed case against PMC in the Islamabad High Court. In February 2020, Islamabad High Court restored PMDC and cancelled the importance of PMC. As per the sources, government has got passed bill from the Assembly for the establishment of PMC now. PMC will start its independent functioning from 2^nd October 2020 officially. PMDC website has been replaced by the official website of PMC.

PMC has also notified that all type of MDCAT 2020 / Medical Entrance Test 2020 / Medical Entry Test 2020 by scheduled by medical admitting universities shall stand cancelled. New date of MDCAT 2020 will be shared after 2^nd October, 2020 immediately.
